New Manager of Schools meet with Teachers ahead of 2016/2017 Academic Year

Rev Fr Clement Tsanga was meeting the teachers for the first time after his appointment. He takes over from Rev Fr Marcel Kenghem.

The Archdiocese of Bamenda following the mind of St Joseph Calasanz the universal patron saint of all Christian schools declared in 1948 recognizes that if boys and girls from their earliest years are instructed diligently in piety and letters, it must undoubtedly be expected that their whole life will be a happy one. It is for this reason that our St Michael's Parish Futru is fully engage in the education of the young ones in piety and literacy. This type of education is holistic where the individual receives education in a formal set up. At the end of primary education which is class six, the pupil is awarded with a religious knowledge certificate and the First School Leaving Certificate. These certificates are awarded to pupils through competitive examinations organize by the Archdiocese of Bamenda and the ministry of Basic education respectively. Class six pupils also write the Government Common Entrance Examination to enable anenrollment into the collages in our country. A pass in the Government Common Entrance is either list A or List B.
